Camplates add more fuel for the 12v injection pumps. The smaller the # plate, the more fuel it adds and the more aggressive the fuel output rate is. PDR recommends the #10 plate for most applications, due to the adjustability of the #10 plate. The PDR Governor Spring Kit is a special combination of Bosch springs and Piers' unique design on seats. The GSK is designed to allow your pump to rev past factory settings where the injection pump starts to defuel, PDR's GSK allows more fuel without compromising pump safety. 3000RPM and 4000RPM kits available. 4000RPM kits required use of heavy duty valve springs. Fits 1994-1998 12V Cummins diesels. DV's also add more fuel by allowing the injection pump to flow more fuel.
Below is a camplate application guide and all numbers are based on positioning the new camplate in the stock plate's position.
