PDR has a complete line of turbo upgrades and accessories for your Dodge RAM Cummins Turbo diesel. We have a line of turbos for daily driving and towing, to racing and sled pulling applications.
Selecting the best turbo for your application is a matter of choosing the right turbo for your intended power level and your intended application. While too much horsepower can easily push a turbo beyond its efficiency range, it is also important to consider your intended usage. Are you willing to sacrifice some EGT reduction for better spooling? Are you willing to give up some bottom end for overall peak performance or sacrifice a little top end performance to maintain some bottom end spooling and towing performance? Can you afford the cost of twins to get both? There are tradeoffs associated with each turbo and exhaust housing combination. Choosing the right turbo and exhaust housing combination requires careful research and planning.
Selecting the best turbo for your application is only one part of managing EGT's. Effectively managing EGT's requires considering other components such as air intake and exhaust systems as well as camshafts and ported heads. In many cases just adding a larger turbo will not eliminate EGT problems. In most cases a larger turbo will lower peak EGT's and/or increase the length of time it takes to reach peak EGT's.
Plus all of the accessories such as intake and exhaust manifolds, intercoolers, boots, hoses and clamps.
From a single to a set of twin turbo's to keep your egt's low, we have it all. |
