Disassembly and Cleaning:

1. Remove the two screws marked A and the cover plate marked B.
2. Remove the spring marked C, the o-ring marked D and the spacer marked E.
3. Remove the spool valve marked F, noting which way it came out.
4. Clean the spool valve varsol or minieral spirits to remove build-up of contaminents.
5. Wipe the spool valve dry with a soft lint free cloth.

Reassembly:

1. Reinstall the spool valve carefully, with the thin tip facing out. Do not force the valve.
2. Reinstall the spacer, o-ring, and spring.
3. Position the cover so the spring and the o-ring are seated properly.
4. Tighten the two remaining screws.
5. Check the 4 body screws, 2 manual override screws and the 2 coil body screws to ensure they are tight. Do not over tighten.
