OBS 7.3 Turbo Upgrade

If you are running Larger than stock injectors in your 94-97 7.3L Powerstroke you have no doubt noticed that it is hard to keep your EGT’s in check. Our new Upgraded Garrett Super 66 Turbo uses a smaller exhaust housing for faster spool up while a larger compressor wheel allows for 30% more airflow into your motor. The result is a turbo that spools as quick as your current unit while dropping EGT’s and increasing Horsepower. The Turbo also uses a 360 degree Thrust Bearing to prolong turbo life.  This turbo will still spool stock injectors however unless an injector upgrade is planned our Stage 1 turbo is a better match for stock or mildly modified trucks.

Direct Bolt on Performance turbo for the 94-97 7.3 Powerstroke!
- 66mm Compressor Inducer vs the stock 60mm
- 30% increase in airflow 1050CFM vs 750CFM in the stock TP38
- Supports up to 400hp and 40lbs Boost
- Designed for up to a 200cc Injector
- 1.0 A/R Turbine Housing for faster spool up
- 360 Thrust Bearing for maximum Turbo Life
- Non EBPV Pedestal recommended with installation to ensure no leaks if the EBPV is Removed when turbo is installed.

6.0L Charge Air Pipe

We are now carrying our own in house produced Cold Charge Air Pipe for the 6.0L Powerstroke. This Pipe is a drop in replacement for the black plastic pipe that comes from the factory.

The plastic factory piece is prone to cracking under both higher than stock boost applications and after years of plastic fatigue.

In the coming months we will be rolling out wheels for Duramax, Cummins and Aftermarket Turbo Applications.

Fixing the 6.4 Powerstroke

The 6.0 Powerstroke left a sour taste in the mouths of many Ford  Truck Owners. An inadequate EGR System and poor Injection components made for headaches for thousands of owners. International/Fords 6.4L was a mile ahead of its predecessor and a completely new design, using modern Common Rail Injection and Emissions Control as well as a Compound Turbocharger. The 6.4 much like its predecessor is still not without problems, often stemming from Poorly designed Emissions Control Systems. A customer came in with the symptoms of a Blown head Gasket, as well as a possible failure of the EGR System. The customer elected to have the heads removed & checked, as well as the installation of ARP Headstuds, Coolant Filter, EGR check-up as well as a new high flow intake elbow and intercooler boot kit. The end result was the improvement of an already great motor, we addressed the shortcomings International Faced when working around the 2008 emissions standards.

Boot Kits!

We finally received our first shipment of Silicone Boot Kits for a variety of applications this week. We have in stock and ready to ship boots for 1999-2010 Powerstroke and 1994-2007 Cummins Trucks! They are tested up to 150PSI, includes Breeze Constant Torque Spring Loaded Clamps and have factory lips to ensure a good seal on your intercooler plumbing. You can check out the kits by visiting our store.

2011 F350 T.L.C.

This week we have been working one of our customers work trucks which happens to be a 2011 F350 with the 6.7 Powerstroke. The truck already has 160,000KMs on the motor and he decided with the lapse of his warranty it was time to get rid of some of the scrap metal from under the hood.  We elected to install an AFE Cold Air Intake system, H&S Mini Maxx Programmer, Flo Pro exhaust components and some Sinister Diesel gadgets under the hood, the end result was a night and day difference in the drive-ability and efficiency of the truck. Some were skeptical about the longevity of the new in house built Scorpion motor but after having a few trucks pass through the shop with over 160,000Km for regular maintenance and performance upgrades all the woes about this motor being a true performer should be put to rest!
